I'm a curly girl transplanted into Fresno some 20 years ago from the bay area. I grew out of the sixties and then traveled quite a bit -even spent five amazing years in Israel. Upon returning to the states we dug in and embraced the American Dream. Was married for 30 years then divorced in my late forties. Three out of four of my adult daughters live in Fresno, one in San Jose. As she is the one who has blessed me with two adorable grand children, I frequent there A LOT!. My father was a musician who fashioned himself after Frank. Consequently, the words of most every standard ever written are engrained into my memory. I love most genres of music (Jazz and Folk at the top of the list). Love to read and when the mood strikes I write. I work with high risk youth assisting them with career development...never a dull moment! I would like to tell you that my life has been completely drama free but that has not always been the case in the Fagin household. (C'mon we are talking FOUR DAUGHTERS!) I have no doubt though that all of our challenges have served to help me grow as a person and deepen my understanding of life. Not a big Jewish community in Fresno, I have dated only non jews since my divorce about 11 years ago. I realize looking back that I have missed the comfort level of celebrating the same holidays, having the Jewish connection, etc. So I am ready to try and see what comes next. Looking for that special someone to share my time with. Out of Fresno is OK. Especially up towards the bay area as I travel there so much. I treasure my past as part of the fabric that makes me ME but I look to the future and really do believe that the best is yet to come!

Somewhere where we can talk and get to know one another. Could be coffee, a glass of wine, lunch, dinner... after maybe a stroll. The date becomes ideal if I feel a connection with the person!

Pretty much anything if I enjoy the company. Love to take trips, hike up waterfalls, camp, sing songs around a fire (that is the 60's in me!) stay in nice hotels, eat out, go dancing, breathe in the ocean and the mountains, smell the hustle and the bustle of big cities... And lets not forget concerts! Fun can be just cooking together then cuddling up in front of the TV with a fire in the fireplace on a cold night. Fun can also be working on a project of some kind together. And of course fun can be grandchildren and family :-)

I look for someone intelligent, attractive, thoughtful, respectful, open minded, romantic, etc. I like it when conversation flows both ways and both are interested in getting to know each other, not one person asking all the questions and the other doing all the talking.
