| La mia idea di divertimento è | Dining, Horsebackriding, opera, symphony ... This weekend, I bought six fabulously fragrent tree roses and planted them into pots. They now stand sentinal along the patio. Just to enjoy the sea air in the fall, I drove to Cannery Row on Monterey bay. On Cannery Row, I went to a wine tasting and nibbled on a cheese tray while sitting in front of a glass wall overhanging the kelp reefs. Otters paddled, sea lions cavorted, and Pelicans glided majestically over the bay. The panorama reached out to the horizon; the colors of the ocean were so saturated and inspiring that I yearned to paint! I stayed there, enchanted, until after the sun set. |
