I will happily relocate for the right woman. I try to live a balanced life, one that values family, friendships, spirituality, learning, and laughter. Life's a short, precious gift; our mission - should we choose to accept it - is to leave this world in a bit better shape than we found it. I believe happiness and success are measured by the lives we enrich. I’m proud of and passionate about what I do for a living, having chosen a career that elevates, enlightens, and enriches. I celebrate my Judaism and am involved in my Jewish community. I’m growing in my Faith, yet very involved in the healthy aspects of modern society; I love the arts. Music is a big passion; while I’ve been accused of being “stuck in 1987”, I try to appreciate the best of many eras and genres. I enjoy reading (mostly audio books these days). Ignorance isn't an option in these uncertain times, so I follow current events and hope you do too, at least to a degree; after all, the kind of society that lies ahead for us, and that we’ll leave to our children (G-d willing) depends on the decisions we make and the causes we support today. I love reading about those who were told it 'couldn't be done' and then did it successfully. I try never to miss a sunset. My role models are people like Rabbi Shmuley, Dennis Prager, and Glenn Beck. My heroes are my grandparents, who survived hell and the ultimate in hate, but by their example have taught me the ultimate in love. Do you want the secret to finding a 'perfect' relationship? Stop looking for perfection (at least in the beginning)! Our first date needn't be perfect. The happiest couples I know had first dates that were less than perfect. Perfection is a process. OK, I'll get off my soapbox now. An ideal first date should reveal potential, allowing both of us the opportunity to discover each other - our likes and dislikes, values, goals, outlooks on life - and perhaps something new about ourselves in the process. We should find that we have the important basics in common, yet enough differences to expand each other's horizons. I prefer a peaceful setting that's conducive to good conversation so I can focus on my date.
