My perfect first date could be meeting for coffee and chatting, hoping there's a connection. Or meeting for a walk in the woods, enjoying some natural wonder. Or... meeting at a hot downtown restaurant over candlelight, laughing and smiling and learning about each other.

To be even happier than I am now. To find more serenity where I can. To find a mate that gets me and I get her. It would be great to find somebody whose personal health and fitness is a priority to him as well

Traveling-wise, my current unusual travel quest is to hike, drive or climb to the highest point in each state. I'm almost done but it's been great fun. After a recent mid-west trip I'm now at 35 state high points and should be at 41 after a quick 1 week trip next August to do 6 more out west. I've met the most interesting people, seen things most people will never get to see and tasted great regional food doing this.

Going on vacation, lying on a beautiful beach watching the waves, hiking up a mountain I've never been to before, hanging out with my friends at a new restaurant or an old favorite, sitting on the couch with the woman I'm dating watching TV as my arm is around her shoulder and she's cuddled up against me as I'm stroking her hair, driving on rolling mountain roads, seeing my nieces in Miami, going to a new museum exhibit, seeing great art, biking with friends as we train for the next event, doing what you like to do because it makes you happy and in turn I'm happy. :o)
