I'm a 52-year old, recently separated, warm, sensitive, quiet, calm, insightful, humorous, politically liberal Jewish city boy, and a big hugger and flirt. I'm also a patient, non-judgmental, considerate, respectful, supportive, reliable, responsible and organized non-smoker and non-drinker.

I'm interested in new friendships and a potential long-term relationship.

I'm a very simple, casual, t-shirt and jeans guy even in my work. I'm definitely a family man who is not afraid of commitment and I get along well with people of all ages kids to seniors.

I believe that communication is the key ingredient to a relationship. I love to talk openly (but not so great at small talk) and am an excellent listener.

At home I like to watch TV, play board games, listen to music (but not a big jazz fan), be on the computer, and read mystery novels. Outside the house I enjoy casual dining, movies, live theater (especially musicals and comedies), Israeli folk dancing, ballroom dancing (I'm a novice), strolling and people-watching. Sometimes I'm limited in my activities because I have back problems. I do not participate in or watch any sports. I am slim and do watch my diet however.

I was brought up in an orthodox Jewish home but I personally do not practice much currently. I am comfortable with pretty much all levels of Jewish observance. My parents are holocaust survivors and I speak Yiddish and some Hungarian.

I have been in only one 27 year marriage and have two grown kids. I'm definitely not a "player".

I was a freelance graphic artist for many years and changed career paths to become a professional home and office organizer (so I'm pretty tidy and organized too). I've been self-employed most of my working life and I'm not particularly ambitious when it comes to money and career. My priority has always been the people in my life.

I can't afford to wine and dine you every night but I can give you lots of caring, love, hand-holding attention and warmth. And that's what I'm looking for too.
