History:
I grew up in Marin county, moved here to go to college and stayed. I run the IT department at a school district, have a small staff and enjoy what I do.

Some poignant moments for me:
At age 12 turning pages for my grandfather who was stricken with polio when he was 34 and lived the rest of his life in an iron lung. Watching my mother comb my other grandfather's hair after he was paralyzed by a stroke. Watching footage of the genocide in Rwanda. A visit to Dachau. Seeing the way other people live on a trip to Kenya last summer.

Best times:
Stopping at roadside fruit stands on long car trips. Ski trips with friends. Vacations with my family. Making breakfast for someone special on a Sunday morning.

Lately:
Bought my first home last summer, a condo. Still in the process of finding things to put on the walls, advice welcome. I’ve always wanted to learn how to play the guitar- started lessons recently. It’s difficult, but fun. Just got back from a month-long trek in Nepal, incredible.

Life is good but sharing it with someone would make it even better.
