I’ve just started a charitable foundation to provide free behavioral training and socialization to homeless dogs in shelters and rescue organizations with the goal of getting these dogs into “Forever Homes” more quickly.
I am an avid Equestrian -- Member of the U.S. National Horseball Team, Competitive 3-Day Eventer, and Arabian Horse owner.
I am a very honorable and loyal friend, but a fierce competitor in business and sports.
I am NOT a “Player”. However, I am admittedly, very cautious and deliberate about who I get involved with romantically.

Actually, I grew up with horses and dogs. My near-term goal is to develop a small (10 - 50 acre) farm, raise and train a few horses, but more importantly - to serve as a "Sanctuary" for old, injured, otherwise "unadoptable" horses and dogs.
I would like to find "HER" and settle into a sense of harmony and minimally dysfunctional FAMILY life.

I enjoy my work. Thankfully.
I love turning concepts & ideas into patented, marketed products. Building businesses from nothing.
But for FUN...
The ol' dinner with friends - good food, good scotch or bourbon, some laughter - Perfect.
As an equestrian, I like to get out with the horses whenever possible. Birthing a foal is AWESOME. No other word describes that event.
Playing and working with dogs is incredibly rewarding.
I like to get OUTSIDE whenever possible - hiking, canoeing, riding horses, etc.
I am involved with a number of charities and non-profit organizations. I get a lot out of helping others.
I like going out, listening to LIVE music at bars, concerts, etc.
I read voraciously, often 3 or 4 books at any one time.
Spending time with GOOD FRIENDS is wonderful.
Traveling - domestically and abroad. Weekend trips by car at the last minute or extended foreign trips.
Art museums and gallery openings are great.
What else??? We'll talk and figure out more.

Admittedly, I must find a woman ATTRACTIVE TO ME.
After her looks catch my attention, her intelligence, sense of humor, and caring nature KEEPS my attention.
Since I am so involved with animals, particularly horses and dogs, I would prefer a woman who is comfortable around horses and large dogs, and the occassional "wild critter" in need of rehabilitation.
The whole "Madonna/Whore" thing is ridiculous.
Having a career, or her own interests, is critical. I want to be able to discuss the day, not orate about my own.
A degree of independence, confidence in the relationship (I'm responsible for at least 50% of that, too.) and minimum of "clinginess" is desired.
An adventurous nature would be fun, too.
