One of my great quests is to find white chocolate with chili pepper mixed in it for sale in America. I had it once in Munich, years and years ago and it was YUM. I love musicals, sci-fi (Trek, BSG) fantasy literature, pop and hip hop music, dancing to corny 90s DJs, gardening, cooking, and whole assortment of other dorky things. Some of my favorite topics for discussion are linguistic philosophy, political philosophy, biological anthropology and history. All of the jobs I've ever had involved working with animals and people in various educational capacities, and my ultimate hope is to do research that helps improve an individuals ability to help themselves - along the lines of "teach a man to fish." I want to do that research in the field of psychology, specifically in language, communication, cultural relativity and the resulting implications for managing a global village. My college work was in archeology, and I still do some work in that field, but mostly it's purpose was to learn as much as possible about how human's solved problems throughout time and what that can tell us about our capacities now that we may not know. I love studying languages, and I want to learn as many as I can before my neuronal connections begin to decay with age (you know, after 27). I am highly visual and love making crafts - I pretty much make all the jewelery I wear, especially the earings. I love photography, especially of landscapes. And I also really love making ceramic sculptures, but I haven't had access to a studio in a while, so the last piece I made was in 2006. My friends would tell you i have my head in the clouds and am often in need of a translator since I have my own linguistic norms.
