I am looking for the right partner in life. I have an open mind and an open heart.

I lived in Boston for 30 years and still go at least once a month for work and friends. But now my home is in Guilford, CT. I changed everything up with Covid. Not building,running, turning around companies anymore. Have flexibility. Not really retired but more time for F& and many interests.

About me: I'm empathic, open, thoughtful, curious, athletic, competitive, opinionated, direct, positive, optimistic, intense, physical, high energy, fun loving, creative, analytical, adventurous, completely silly, very serious, independent, trusting, sensitive, challenging, wise as a result of having been wrong and foolish so many times, playful, extroverted, resilient, outrageous, imperfect, kind and generous. I have soft spots, weaknesses, vulnerabilities, disappointments and bad habits. Even though I'm my own harshest critic I like myself. I'm a risk taker. I am blessed with a genetic disposition of relentless optimism. I enjoy conversation and silence. Love to sing. Am passionate about nature, aesthetics, certain social issues, my business, my kids - life. On pitifully rare but magical occasions I sneak away with my paint box to catch the dawn. Have never met one that didn't astound me.

I spend a lot of time on my bicycle and really love racing up mountains. I'm always happy to be on the water in any conveyance but particularly love sailing. I also dance as often as I can fit it in. I abhor and avoid pretension, arrogance, violence and aggression. I'm pretty much full throttle once I jump in to something that catches my attention.

I am very giving in relationships - in life - and expect the same. I'm tough as they come but sweeter than you would guess. My heart is very tender and loving.

About you: A good companion for me is likely to be fun, accomplished, an outdoorsman athlete, have many interests, be financially secure, comfortable in his own skin, intellectual, unpretentious, communicative, powerful, gentle, subtle, aware, creative, responsive, interested in doing good for others while making the most of life - or some interesting combination of most of these things. When dancing, I like a strong, creative and responsive lead. I relate to people who pursue life with reckless abandon - as I do. He'd be someone I could take anywhere and my range is broad. He'd also be someone who'd take me to places I've never been before.

I love being a mother. My two children, 30 and 34, and now my grandson (!) are my greatest joy.

First time ever - A political statement. I have friends across a wide spectrum of beliefs. But if you are a fan of Trump I just can't go there in my romantic life. I am open minded and happy to engage with thoughtful people about any controversial subject. But with my best friend I'm not looking for hyper-polarized politics. Call me narrow minded. I expect a minimum standard of civility and decency from someone who aspires to lead the free world.
