I am a successful family and human rights lawyer living in Liverpool. I am looking to share my life with a kind, positive person who enjoys a good discussion, the odd game of bridge, and spending time together, especially watching science fiction movies. In fact, I spend a lot of time reading and discussing sci fi with my sons-in-law and grandchildren, which makes me a bit of a geek, I suppose!

I am 5'8, blue eyes with red hair (at the moment). I dress with flair and style and clearly have no modesty, but if you choose to meet me, you will see that I am totally honest. And I hope that you are, too. Physically, everything is in proportion, and I am told by others that my proportions are quite what the doctor ordered, whether they'd be what you would want, well, that is a matter of personal taste. As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and you can get used to anything after a while. I do have a taste though, for rather expensive perfume, so at least I smell nice.

On a purely practical note, you should also know that I am very family orientated (two married daughters) and timewise I do a lot of work for my Jewish community and I am a member of the shul council.

I am looking for someone who has made a success of his life and is serious in his intentions. I want to find someone who is willing to form a partnership with me based on equality, who will respect me, and be someone whom I can respect. I have had a very successful career of my own, and whilst I am not necessarily looking for a man with academic achievements, success can be measured in all sorts of different ways. My spiritual life is very important to me, and whilst my partner need not necessarily share that, he must understand how much it means to me and support me in providing a Jewish family life for my children and grandchildren. Physically, two eyes, a nose and a mouth will do it as long as there is a body to go with these - although I must say I have a definite preference for a pretty set of hands.

Money is always nice, but whilst it is not the be all and end all, it is to some degree an indicator of achievement. If I am to emigrate from the U.K., the ability of a prospective partner to assist me with the cost of airfares to visit my children and grandchildren or have them visit me may well be an important factor. Otherwise, it does not matter how wonderful he is - I would not be able to afford to fall in love with such a man if he lived outside the U.K.

I enjoy nothing more than a good argument, but at the same time, if a man is too dogmatic in his opinions and has always to have the last word, then I would be completely miserable. Yet, if on the other hand, if there was chemistry between us and his complex ideas would spark off further ideas in my head, and we would continue to inspire each other with our thoughts, then that would be a truly magical and intimate relationship.

Anything new and different, I really want to see what I might have been missing for the last fifty years. Of course I have my principles and boundaries that I will not cross like drugs and anything unlawful but outside those parameters I am game to consider any experience you might like to suggest.
