| Je me décrirais comme | Youthful, idealistic, detail-oriented, hardworking, compassionate, considerate, creative; I try to be open-minded. Imaginative-I like science fiction and fantasy, especially the sense of wonder inherent in those genres. A professor said that children live rich emotional fantasy lives, and these genres help reconnect us with that. I believe that this helps us be more creative and think outside the box. fair-minded—I believe that one reason people have certain God-given rights is that, as the Torah implies in the story of Cain and Abel, each individual is a world unto himself. One problem with being undemocratic is that it makes it easier to judge and underestimate people. If we take the attitude that we are not all equal and that each of us should just concentrate on doing the best we can in our role, this is a constricting way of life. Enjoy reading, theatrical productions, creative writing, driving, baseball games, and analyzing stories. I'm trying to increase the frequency of my studying Torah. I realize that I'm underweight but I'm working on it. Amateur historian. In high school, scored in the top 4% on a national American history exam, and in the top 10 % on a national world history exam. Creative; composed 2 songs. I don’t like to think of life as a road. I prefer to think of it as a mountain that you build, with childhood being the base. People should develop the wisdom and maturity of adulthood, but not be in a hurry to let go of the sense of wonder of childhood. Last but not least, I believe that the most important component of religion is treating other people with respect. |
